I want to take a second to talk about Jackson. I had a great time writing about this character. He is truthful, fun and very competitive. When ever I wrote a situation where a dare could happen it was easy to have Jackson add his two cents. When I was trying to think of an angel for the wing of Uriel, I was trying to think of what would be a foe that would strike fear. The only thing I could think of was someone who was just massive, not just in size, but also personality. Plus, I would say that the name Jackson is a very strong name. I was wrestling with Jax as an alternate, but I settled on Jackson since my sister -in-law's dog is named such. It is kind of ironic though since he is a black dog and Jackson has black wings. I assure you purely coincidence. Jackson is a character that I would like to be more involved if I should happen to write any other books about the Sentinels. Who knows maybe I will do a spin off or a prequel just for him. I just need a title for it, that is all.
